Having lived and worked in the West End for the last five years (via Shawlands, Glesga), I finally ventured out last weekend to Leith, New Haven, Musselburgh, Portobello. What a lovely part of Edinburgh (and beyond). Spent the day in Starbanks Inn, where the landlord goes around speaking to all the guests. Would never happen in Rutland.

Starbank is a great pub huh! I had poached haddock in milk with poached egg and brown bread in there a couple of Sundays ago. My god it was good. And the bar staff were all very friendly, yeah.
